Lagar Los Pilones
Lagar los Pilones is the prototype of a house-press that combines Spanish rustic and traditional decoration with modern amenities like air conditioner, heating and swimming pool.
It is warm in winter and cool in summer, so you will not suffer the rigors of the weather.
It is a big villa made up of two houses that are rented as a single complex to be able to accommodate up to 15 people and having privacy as there are no neighbors.
Outdoor and indoor, there are lots of places for people to have their own space.

This part has been converted into a small museum and preserves the tools used in the wine production part of a large lounge.
The winery, the patio, the rooms with a fireplace, the oven for baking bread, the fermentation room have been restored for you to spend time with people you love.

La Casa Chica provides some privacy by giving you the opportunity to house separately calm grandparents, young night owls or rowdy kids.

Outside the house there is a large garden with a safe and clean swimming pool and 6 beds for sunbathing.
Cool off, have fun and relax on hot summer days at the same time.
The house is also equipped with cribs, kid chairs, many outdoor toys, trampoline and game castle for children’s entertainment.
In addition, there is a wooden house that will be a favorite place for the kids.
The barbecue and outdoor wood oven (great for pizzas and slow roasts) will help you eat healthy and varied.
Have fun with your loved ones while you cook and they hang about drinking wine.
There are about 9 nice areas to sit around the house to relax and enjoying sunrises and sunsets.
And don’t forget to sit on the swing while admiring the amazing views of sierras de Malaga, El Torcal Mountains or the Mediterranean forest.

Lagar los Pilones's rules
- For health and safety, pets are not allowed.
- No greater number of housed people will be admitted than those who have been hired, including children. The people in charge of the house can deny you entry if more people than the contracted ones stay.
- The houses will be available from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
- Initial service: sheets, towels and general cleaning. In long-term stays, the change of bed linen and towels will be weekly.
- The collection of keys will take place before 22:00 hours. If you are going to arrive later or need help, please call to (+34) 649 96 73 07.
- You must fill out and deliver the Lodging Form and give a deposit of €500 to respond for possible damage caused to the house.
- Visits are not allowed without authorization from the staff in charge.
- The deficiencies that the client may find in the rented house must be communicated, as soon as possible, to the person in charge in order to be corrected.
- Any suggestion you can offer us to make your future and others stays more pleasant will be appreciated.
- The pool is for the reserved use of the farm. Its use by you or your companions is under your sole and exclusive responsibility.
- The use of the playhouse is prohibited without adult supervision.
- Don’t forget to respect the environment.
- Our greatest wish is that your stay develops normally and that you enjoy our hospitality and the nature that Lagar los Pilones offers you.
- The fact of making the Reservation supposes the express acceptance of these general conditions. In what is not foreseen, LAU 29/1994 and the Civil Code will apply.

Everything was clean and well stocked. Carmen did a great job setting up a cook for us and also arraigned a local driver to take us to Ronda. The drive up the hill is a little daunting at first, but when you get to the top and see the views, it is a small price to pay. I would highly recommend this location for the value and the views!
This is a place far beyond expectations. Incredibly beautifully located, a completely unique house. Great social spaces, yes what more can you ask for. The perfect place to spend time to relax with friends and family. The view and sunset are awesome ! Everything you need is available in the house if you have kids. Despite remote location it is easy to spend a day or a night in Malaga (25min by car). And Paqui help us to organize great diners with no stress. If you want to taste Andalousia, this is the spot !
We loved staying at Carmen's place in the mountains. We were two families with 3 children, aged 9, 6 and 2 years old and we had lots of space and everything we needed and more at the house. Carmen was the perfect hostess we did not want for anything. We would highly recommend this property.

Vi havde et meget dejligt ophold i huset. Vejret var ikke godt i perioden omkring den 28. - 31. oktober. Det var ugen med Regn, torden og lyn, som jo blev en katastrofe for andre steder i Spanien - især Valencia. De første fem dage (22.-26. okt.) var vi i huset med vores 7 ansatte - studietur, hvor vi bl.a. besøgte Alhambra. Vi startede hver dag med yoga udendørs og sprang i poolen bagefter - skøn oplevelse for alle! Da familien tog over (uge 2) og vejret skiftede, sørgede Ma Carmen for, at varmen blev skruet op og vi fik brænde til pejsen. Vi havde det meget hyggeligt i huset med vores børn og børnebørn, til hvem vi havde alt, hvad vi havde brug for af børnesenge, - stole og legetøj - der manglede ikke noget! Der var dejligt sengetøj og tæpper til alle. Landskabet og huset er enormt smukt og næsten hver dag oplevede vi hyrden med sine geder, får og hunde på bjergsiden - meget fascinerende! Vejen op til huset kræver en god bil!! Det er en meget smal og snoet bjergvej!
Carmen was easy to deal with, and met us locally so she could show us the house. And what a house too - an amazing location right on top of the mountains, with views all around. Total peace and quiet and darkness, the perfect place to relax. A beautiful old converted winery, with many features retained. Loads of places to sit outside. the pool was smaller than it looked, fine for a dip to cool off. Luckily we had hired a 4 x 4, the road up is quite steep and spectacular indeed, but the views amazing.
Excellent séjour en famille (10 personnes) maison accueillante avec une âme, panorama exceptionnel.calme repos et quiétude des lieux .Excellent départ pour visiter l'Andalousie ou rester au calme dans ce nid d aigle. Surtout vous apprécierez l'accueil de Mme Carmen, sa gentillesse. N’hésitez surtout pas à lui demander conseil sur le choix d'un jambon ibérico de belota,d'un queso de cabra. MERCI MME CARMEN
Had an amazing stay. The house is on a secluded hilltop but close to amenities and an easy drive to the coast. It's beautiful and well kept. Carmen is an amazing host and you cam see she loves the house
This villa was even better than we had hoped. It was beautiful, stylish, comfortable and clean. The views are exceptional and the choice of terraces and patios meant that there was always the perfect spot to linger and lounge around, no matter the time of day. The fantastic Pizza Oven and brick built BBQ were an unexpected bonus, and we made great use of them. Cooking every night and just enjoying the setting and the views. Carmen is an excellent host. Very welcoming and she even brought us some local goats cheese when she saw how much we liked to eat. It’s the perfect combination of remote but accessible and rustic with all modern conveniences - instant hot water, efficient air con and super fast wifi. We would go back there tomorrow!
This house is absolutely gorgeous and we truly recommend it! The photos are not even close to reality! Carmen and her family are the best hosts one could wish for, kind, attentive and generous! We spend an amazing summer at the house, it’s location is really unique, close to all Andalusia’s best destinations, but at the same secluded and so so beautiful! Thank you again Carmen and family!!!
Wij hebben het hier zalig gehad. Lagar los Pilones is werkelijk een schitterend vakantiehuis. Dit is een geweldig huisje: zeer verzorgd interieur, met aandacht ingericht, is schoon en heeft een prachtig uitzicht van 360 graden. De bedden zijn perfect, de badkamers ruim en praktisch, overal zijn horren voor de ramen zodat je heerlijk met de ramen open kunt slapen. Bedden opgemaakt, handdoeken in de badkamers. De ligging is idyllisch, het avontuur begint al met de weg ernaartoe. Laatste 1,5 km over een onverharde bergweg, ondanks dat deze onverhard is, is deze prima te berijden, zelfs met een kleine huurauto! Eenmaal boven weet je niet wat je ziet, wat een huis en wat een uitzicht! De enige wezens in de omgeving waren geiten, een balkende ezel, een kraaiende haan en rondvliegende zwaluwtjes. Het zwembad (veilig omheind voor kinderen) ligt heerlijk in de zon, en het overdekte terras met ligbedden biedt een welkome verkoeling onder de warme Spaanse zon. Het huis ligt in de driehoek Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba, waardoor een uitstekende uitvalbasis voor het ontdekken van Andalusie. Ligt 10 minuten rijden van dorpje(Casabermeja) met verscheidene spaanse restaurantjes. Malaga slechts op 25 min met de auto. Eigenaars zeer vriendelijk: onze aankomst was vertraagd door vertraging vliegtuig, en zij hadden daarom brood, melk, fruit ed voor ons gekocht omdat bij onze aankomst de winkels gesloten waren Een absolute aanrader en we gaan zeker nog eens terug! We absolutely loved staying at Lagar los Pilones. It truly was an incredibly beautiful and breathtaking historical property. It had 360 degree views of the surrounding valleys, mountains and countryside. We brought our four children and their spouses and four grandchildren and we all fit perfectly. The children loved playing on the grounds with the trampoline and playhouse. We all loved sitting in the swing and looking out over the valley at sunset. We enjoyed hiking around the area to visit the ancient caves and paintings. Lagar los Pilones is a good central location for our family to explore Malaga, Marbella, Granada, Ronda, Córdoba, Sevilla or El Caminito del Rey and still make it home to cook dinner, put the children to bed and relax for the evening. Carmen was a wonderful host and very attentive to us. She gave us great suggestions on restaurants and where to shop for food. Casabermeja has the necessities near by such as grocery shopping and restaurants. We were all very pleased with our experience and our only regret was not having another week to spend at Lagar los Pilones. We definitely would recommend it to family and friends and hope to return some day.
We LOVED our stay @ Carmens Villa! The views are unreal & go on n on for miles! It's away from everything, but only about 7-10 minute drive to the market, gas, butcher & the local Pueblo there in town, & about a 30-45 minute drive to all the amazing beaches in the area! Carmen met us in town & showed us the market, & waited for us to pick up a few things (although she had a few things there for us already too:) & then had us follow her up to the villa, which was great since it'd be a bit tricky to find on our own. Carmen had fresh flowers that smelled SO sweet in each of the bedrooms, showed us all that we needed to know & gave us a brief history on her familys renovated winery (so cool:) The wifi was way fast! & we always had hot water for our showers, which was great! The beds, linens & towels were first class, & the furnishing & decor were true to the style of home. One of the best rooms in the villa is the covered pergola full of grapevines, it was so nice eating outside & enjoying the views & the breeze (it gets chilly @ night) Carmen also has several cozy nooks through out the property, each w/a different view of the countryside, it was so fun finding them & relaxing for a bit. I can't say enough good about staying here & about the hostess, she was wonderful & so was our stay!
We spent a week here in August, and had a wonderful time. We are are group of ten (8 adults and 2 children). The villa is located in a breathtaking position on top of a hill with unforgettable sunsets every evening. A particular highlight for us was the cooking - with a fantastic bbq, and also outdoor wood oven (great for pizzas and slow roasts). The local butcher in casabermeja was also excellent (Carmen told us about him). Day trips to the Alhambra, Malaga and a waterpark for the kids were very easy from the location. The only thing - the road up to the villa is quite steep to say the least and we were grateful we had hire cars with reasonable engines!!!!
We had a really nice time in Carmen’s house! The rooms and bathrooms were great, and also the view was absolutely stunning. What we initially didn’t know was that you have to ride up the mountain on a pretty sandy road for ±10 minutes. You must have a car to reach the house. We didn't know this in advance, luckily we did have a car, but it might be good to mention it here. Also the communication with Carmen was really good! We would definitely recommend this house 🙂
We were extremely happy with the place. There were nine grownups and one baby in a group and a solution with two houses gave us sufficent flexibility around baby's sleeping hours. The views are magnificent and there are plenty of sitting areas around the house to enjoy the sunrise or the sunset. The access is a bit difficult, 2 km uphill driving but we used it for running practice. 🙂
this place is breathtaking! the house, the views both so special! we had a great family vacation at carmens place. the kitchen was fully equipped and its great fun to cook there, also thr stone oven outside is a great bonus... for family with a baby carmen offers a lot of accesorize like beds, cribs and toys carmen is a wonderful host who is attentive to your needs and gives a warm and pleasant reception I highly recommend choosing this house for your next vacation
