We were extremely happy with the place. There were nine grownups and one baby in a group and a solution with two houses gave us sufficent flexibility around baby's sleeping hours. The views are magnificent and there are plenty of sitting areas around the house to enjoy the sunrise or the sunset. The access is a bit difficult, 2 km uphill driving but we used it for running practice. 🙂

Carmen was a great host and very helpful in making us feel at home. The cortijo is beautiful and the area very relaxing. We had a wonderful time.

The views from the Villa are amazing and worth the visit.

We had a lovely time at the house on the hill! It was easy to have a group of people stay as there is lots of outdoor and indoor space for people to have their own space. Considering the time of year it was wonderful that they provided us with wood for an indoor fire and also the bbq. When we arrived there were flowers in all of the rooms which was a thoughtful touch that went along with the nicely appointed house. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided. I would love to go back !

We absolutely loved staying at Lagar los Pilones. It truly was an incredibly beautiful and breathtaking historical property. It had 360 degree views of the surrounding valleys, mountains and countryside. We brought our four children and their spouses and four grandchildren and we all fit perfectly. The children loved playing on the grounds with the trampoline and playhouse. We all loved sitting in the swing and looking out over the valley at sunset. We enjoyed hiking around the area to visit the ancient caves and paintings. Lagar los Pilones is a good central location for our family to explore Malaga, Marbella, Granada, Ronda, Córdoba, Sevilla or El Caminito del Rey and still make it home to cook dinner, put the children to bed and relax for the evening. Carmen was a wonderful host and very attentive to us. She gave us great suggestions on restaurants and where to shop for food. Casabermeja has the necessities near by such as grocery shopping and restaurants. We were all very pleased with our experience and our only regret was not having another week to spend at Lagar los Pilones. We definitely would recommend it to family and friends and hope to return some day.

Si vous recherchez un coin de paradis, typique, authentique, niché entre montagnes, avec une vue spectaculaire, arretez votre choix ici!!! La villa est plus que parfaite, avec décorations typique d'andalousie, possèdant un charme indéniable et est remplie d'histoire. Le chemin vers la villa a lui seul vous convaincra; une route sinueuse en hauteur de 2km vous mènera vers ce domaine privé avec aucun voisin a proximité, situé entre arbres fruitiers, oliviers, amandiers et vignes. Le plaisir que nous avons eu a 10 adultes et 2 enfants de profiter de cet endroit, de la pisicine et du domaine est gravé dans nos mémoires. Le plus bel Airbnb que nous ayons fait!

Wij hebben het hier zalig gehad. Lagar los Pilones is werkelijk een schitterend vakantiehuis. Dit is een geweldig huisje: zeer verzorgd interieur, met aandacht ingericht, is schoon en heeft een prachtig uitzicht van 360 graden. De bedden zijn perfect, de badkamers ruim en praktisch, overal zijn horren voor de ramen zodat je heerlijk met de ramen open kunt slapen. Bedden opgemaakt, handdoeken in de badkamers. De ligging is idyllisch, het avontuur begint al met de weg ernaartoe. Laatste 1,5 km over een onverharde bergweg, ondanks dat deze onverhard is, is deze prima te berijden, zelfs met een kleine huurauto! Eenmaal boven weet je niet wat je ziet, wat een huis en wat een uitzicht! De enige wezens in de omgeving waren geiten, een balkende ezel, een kraaiende haan en rondvliegende zwaluwtjes. Het zwembad (veilig omheind voor kinderen) ligt heerlijk in de zon, en het overdekte terras met ligbedden biedt een welkome verkoeling onder de warme Spaanse zon. Het huis ligt in de driehoek Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba, waardoor een uitstekende uitvalbasis voor het ontdekken van Andalusie. Ligt 10 minuten rijden van dorpje(Casabermeja) met verscheidene spaanse restaurantjes. Malaga slechts op 25 min met de auto. Eigenaars zeer vriendelijk: onze aankomst was vertraagd door vertraging vliegtuig, en zij hadden daarom brood, melk, fruit ed voor ons gekocht omdat bij onze aankomst de winkels gesloten waren Een absolute aanrader en we gaan zeker nog eens terug! Everything was clean and well stocked. Carmen did a great job setting up a cook for us and also arraigned a local driver to take us to Ronda. The drive up the hill is a little daunting at first, but when you get to the top and see the views, it is a small price to pay. I would highly recommend this location for the value and the views!

Huset er et vidunderligt hus på toppen af en smuk, smuk bakke i højderne omkring Malaga. Vi og vores familie havde et skønt ophold, hvor vi nød både hus, udsigt og området omkring huset - ikke mindst gåturene på det utrolige område og besøgene til hulemalerierne (!). Vi savner allerede huset, luften og selvfølgelig at være omgivet af vores store familie i de trygge omgivelser - vi ønsker os allerede tilbage til huset ved Casabermeja.

Very nice house with stunning views. Very clean and authentic. Carmen gave us all the help we needed.

Splendid time we had in Carmen's place, and wonderful memories. The villa sat on top of a hill and take a 10 min drive from the bottom to the villa. The place was super clean and the setting and pool was very nicely done. Fully equipped with everything you need. The water was bit cold to use the swimming pool. Carmen was super nice and made everything simple and easy. There is a hiking pathway to the villa but unfortunately it was poorly marked. Supermarkets were 15 min drive from the place. A surprise visitor ( a wolf) comes to the front door every night to get some food, that added a bit of action to the night. Make sure not to forget the keys to the chains at the bottom of the hill when you drive out.

Nydelig, autentisk hus på «fjellet»! Fantastiske solopp- og nedganger, og et utvalg av forskjellige uteplasser hvor man kan nyte både sol og skygge fra morgen til kveld. Bassengområdet var og veldig bra. Perfekt for små barn, huset er utstyrt med babyseng, stol, masse uteleker, trampoline og lekeslott. Veien opp til huset er humpete og bratt, men det gikk helt fint å kjøre med vanlig bil. Det eneste «negative» var at det var et stykke til butikk (15min med bil). Men en fredelig plass hvor man virkelig får slappet av!

Great experience

We had the pleasure of staying almost 3 weeks at this beatiful site - we had a wonderful stay and can reccomend it for every family who seek a Remote location, with great view and facilities. The place demands you to relax and has all the things a family need to have a great vacation. We especially want to point out the great service Carmen provided for us - this is out of the ordinary and was it possible to give more than 5 stars, we had certainly done it.

Een prachtig onderkomen op een schitterende plek met mooie uizichten rondom. Veel mogelijkheden voor kinderen binnen en buiten. Gastvrouw heel behulpzaam bij bijvoorbeeld organiseren van fotoshoot en diners ter plaatse

The house is comfortable and my family and I enjoyed our stay. Carmen is very responsive and offered great tips and ideas for our stay in the area. The drive up the hills to the house is the only draw back; the dirt road is very steep and narrow on a cliff without railings or lights (which may be common for a farmhouse in the area).

Such an amazing place... even the great pictures doesn't make it justice! I would go back any day. Carmen and her friend Eva were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are beautiful and the atmosphere is utterly relaxing, the only person we met was the shepherd passing with his sheep... (you can't believe you are just 30 minutes from downtown Malaga). The village below the hill (Casabermeja) is a 5 minutes drive and have some nice restaurants (one for meat and one for fish) and if you are into meat the local butcher shop would be worth a visit by its own. Just be prepared that the road to the house is a 2 km narrow dirt road climbing the hills – but we made it with our 2 wheel drive without problems.
